Job Description

A large company is currently hiring an Accounting Assistant / Clerk (Accounts Receivable/Payables )in their accounting department. The position is full time and permanent. The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The company provides full benefits after a 90 day probationary period. Regular opportunities for pay increases.

Experience is not required, however, the ideal applicant will already possess accounts payable and accounts receivable skills and have recent experience in accounting.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for: Creating new client invoices. Invoices range from basic invoicing to complex invoices. Tracking receivables and informing the office manager/bookkeeper of delinquent accounts. Running reporting through Excel on a daily basis and also performing weekly and end of month reporting for bookkeepers review. You may be asked to assist on special projects with the bookkeeper or outside CPA as well as assisting the payroll department on special projects when needed.
