Key Responsibilities Follow up with assigned payers for various denials and ensure accurate processing of payments and claims Research payments, denials, and accounts to determine discrepancies and make necessary appeals Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and providers while resolving billing and payment issues Required Qualifications High school diploma / GED or equivalent working knowledge Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Insurance AR or Physician Fee for Service Billing Minimum of 1 year experience writing appeal letters for payer denials Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of patient financial services and insurance industry processes
